James Minor has been producing images for Austin’s corporations and small advertising agencies since 1984.  Nestled down on colorful East Sixth St., he quietly services corporations such as Motorola, MCC, Sematech, 3M, Cryco, MCRI, Molecular Imprints and National Instruments with a sensible, straightforward and visually clean style.  An award-winning photographer who holds the Professional Photographers of America’s Master of Photography degree and a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Texas., James works hard at producing the best of every subject he takes on.  He does follow the professional creed of “You are only as good as your last image.”  He feels customer service is paramount in his business and strives to furnish each client with what they expect and a little more.

A master with film and lamenting its obsolescence in the corporate market, James has kept up
with the electronic revolution and has been fully digital since 1998.  Being a large format film
shooter, James carried on with the commitment and uses the highest quality digital equipment
available. There was no drop off in quality to his clients with his digital workflow, so they
enjoyed the inherent benefits while receiving the usual high quality of his work.
 
Enjoying the vibrancy of downtown Austin, James will continue servicing his corporate client
base from the East Sixth Street  studio with his quality photographic product.
